Project Engineer

• Handle interior finishing projects

  across Maharashtra, including various interior work items like flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, partitions, Paneling, decorative finishes, furniture, carpentry, and painting.

• Independently execute interior work projects,

  ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.

• Research suppliers

  and keep up-to-date with the latest interior finishes and materials through fast internet searches.

• Prepare project documentation,

  including bar charts, drawings, emails, and progress reports.

• Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, and subcontractors

  to ensure the smooth execution of projects.
• Ensure adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards.

• Liaise with clients

  to understand their requirements and ensure the final deliverables meet expectations.

• Prepare and manage project schedules

  , bar-charts, and SOPs using MS Excel, MS Project, and other project management software to ensure the timely completion of projects.

• Read and interpret

  detailed interior and architectural drawings to ensure proper execution of the design.

• Manage billing

  by taking measurements, preparing bills as per client requirements, and certifying them.

• Send material Delivery Challans

  to the Head Office and track material usage on-site.
• Email communication with clients, ensuring professional correspondence in English and addressing their needs.

• Handle client relationships

  and ensure their requirements are met, ensuring satisfaction.
• Manage labor resources, ensuring their productivity and adherence to schedules.

• Coordinate

  with service agencies such as HVAC, Electrical, and Firefighting to ensure that all services are integrated seamlessly into the project.

Qualification:

• Bachelors degree in Engineering or Architecture.
• Diploma in Civil Engineering, Interiors, or Interior Design.
• Vocational Course or Degree in Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or Architecture.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in

  executing interior projects independently.

• Expertise in various

  interior finishing

  items, including all types of

  flooring, wall finishes, ceilings, partitions, paneling, decorative finishes, fixed and loose furniture, furniture carpentry items,

  and

  painting.

• Fast internet research skills

  to find new suppliers and materials.

• Ability to prepare bar charts, emails, drawings,

  and other project-related documentation.
• Strong knowledge of

  interior execution

  including flooring, gypsum work, ceilings, partitions, and carpentry.
• Ability to work with

  project management tools

  like MS Project.
• Experience in

  client handling and coordinating

  with service agencies (

  HVAC, Electrical, Firefighting, etc.

  ).
• Strong organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Leadership skills to manage labor and subcontractors effectively.

• Proficient in

  MS Excel,

  MS Word,

  MS Outlook/Email

  for project management, communication, and documentation.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English), especially for email communication with clients.

Desired Profile of the Candidate:

• Minimum of 5 years of site experience

  in

  interior execution

  , preferably in offices, hospitals, or 5-star hotels.
• Experience working with

  reputed interior contracting firms

  or builders/construction companies.

• Strong understanding of interior fit-out processes

  , including execution and coordination with service agencies.
• Ability to

  manage multiple projects

• Experience in client interaction and handling communications professionally.

• Minimum 5 years of experience
