Job Summary:
The Project Engineer is responsible for overseeing and coordinating construction projects, ensuring site feasibility, managing materials, and maintaining accurate project documentation. This role requires a combination of technical expertise, leadership, and organizational skills to ensure successful project delivery. The ideal candidate will work closely with managers, subcontractors, and cross-functional teams, adapting efficiently to dynamic project requirements and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Supervision: Oversee and supervise construction projects to ensure timely, safe, and quality execution.
- Site Feasibility: Conduct feasibility assessments based on uploaded drawings and project requirements.
- Material Procurement: Coordinate with the Manager and Store Manager to inspect incoming materials; report any deviations from RFQ or approved design to the Purchase Department.
- Resource Allocation: Assign daily wage workers and subcontractors based on project milestones and priorities.
- Progress Updates: Share regular project updates and photos via designated Teams channels (morning and end-of-day).
- Material Tracking: Maintain a detailed log of material consumption and usage.
- Reporting: Prepare work completion certificates and consolidate work reports for submission.
- Quality Control: Support Internal Quality Control (IQC) surveys and coordinate external inspections by IRS, KIV, or other authorized bodies.
- Communication: Clearly communicate project scope, quality expectations, and timelines to subcontractors and FRP staff.
- Task Planning: Develop weekly work plans and update the Assistant Manager on task progress.
- Daily Reporting: Submit daily work updates to Site Managers and maintain accurate subcontractor timesheets.
- Workplace Maintenance: Ensure work areas are properly cleaned and organized at the end of each day.
- Meetings: Participate in project and design meetings to support effective planning and execution.
- Manpower Planning: Share weekly manpower requirements for subcontractors with the Purchase Department.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (B.Tech) in
Mechanical Engineering
. - Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in project engineering or a related field (marine field experience preferred).
- Strong project management and supervisory skills.
- Excellent coordination and communication abilities.
- Ability to plan, prioritize, and manage manpower effectively.
- Proficiency in maintaining project records and generating reports.
- Salary Range: Starting from ?30,000 per month (based on experience and qualifications). of relevant experience in project engineering or a related field (marine field experience preferred).
