Project Engineer (HVAC)

Job Description

We are looking for an experienced and technically competent Project Engineer (HVAC) to lead on-site execution at our clinet's location. The ideal candidate will take full ownership of HVAC system/Cleanroom implementation across the project lifecycle. The role calls for a resourceful professional with a proven track record in managing field execution, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining strict adherence to quality, safety, and documentation protocols. Key Responsibilities: Lead the installation and execution of HVAC systems including chilled water system, VRV/VRF units, ducting, ventilation systems, piping, cleanrooms, etc Supervise daily site activities and coordinate workforce deployment to meet project targets. Interpret mechanical drawings, schematics, and BOQs to ensure accurate execution. Monitor compliance with approved designs, specifications, and statutory regulations. Coordinate closely with consultants, vendors, and internal design teams to resolve technical discrepancies. Conduct quality inspections, verification checks, and oversee documentation for audits and sign-offs. Plan and track weekly and daily site schedules, progress reports, and task allocations. Maintain accurate records in project ERP tools including material inventory, manpower logs, and work status. Prepare and submit execution updates to the project management office and stakeholders. Carry our timely measurement and get it approved from the client. Coordinate with the office for timely and accurate billing. Interface with clients and consultants for reviews, site inspections, and technical clarifications. Ensure transparent communication and timely escalation of site issues when needed. Preferred Qualification: Diploma or Bachelors degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or an equivalent discipline. Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in HVAC project execution, preferably in industrial sector, chiller system, cleanrooms, or other high-spec sectors. Strong working knowledge of HVAC system components and installation methodologies. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and engineering documents. Hands-on experience with ERP tools for project and inventory management. Proficiency in MS Excel and project communication tools. Demonstrated leadership at construction sites with multi-disciplinary teams. Strong coordination, problem-solving, and client engagement capabilities. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment. Additional Details: Joining Timeline: Immediate availability preferred. Working Condition: Full-time site deployment; travel between project sites as needed.
