Project Engineer is required to join the creation of a new support hub designed to help, support the project orders. The Project Engineer will be responsible for project scheduling, planning, coordination of technical activities, and ensuring project accuracy and quality.
This role involves collaboration with cross-functional teams, adherence to project timelines, and ensuring that project objectives are met. This role requires excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills and the ability to work on multiple discipline projects.
Responsibilities (KRAs / deliverables / job expectations)
COSASCO s offering is highly technical & engineering driven. So, there is a strong technical ability required to understand customer specification, design basis & project documentation.
The following duties and responsibilities are applicable but not limited to:
1. Project Execution:
- Assist with the execution of projects post-purchase order (PO) placement.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Suppliers to determine project specifications based on product design and customer requirements.
- Collaborate with senior engineers to define project goals and objectives.
2. Project Coordination:
- Monitor and maintain project schedules, tracking progress and coordinating customer activities
- Work closely with project teams to ensure the project life cycle is managed properly.
- Monitor project progress and identify potential issues or risks.
3. Documentation Management:
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, ensuring timely updates and submissions are made.
- Collaborate with the team to establish and maintain inspection criteria for project orders.
- Maintain documentation aspect through ERP system for proper tracking.
4. Technical Assistance:
- Provide technical assistance to customers, ensuring their requirements are met.
- Provide technical support to project teams and address engineering-related queries.
- Collaborate with other senior engineers to troubleshoot and solve technical problems.
5. Project Meetings:
- Attend project kick-off meetings as required to understand project expectations and objectives.
- Attend meetings with cross-functional teams and support execution of projects.
- Attend meetings with customers as required.
6. Delivery Management:
- Track, monitor, and report project deliverables monthly to senior management.
7. Customer Service:
- Uphold a high level of customer service by meeting expectations on all project deliverables.
8. Cross-Functional Support:
- Support various areas of the business as needed, demonstrating flexibility and a collaborative approach.
Academic qualification
- BE/ B. Tech in Mechanical or Instrumentation Engineering.
- Project Engineering or Management qualification.
Experience (exposure)
- 5-8 years experience in Projects preferably in process instrumentation/ Corrosion Monitoring industry.
Key attributes (critical functional competencies)
- Ability to quickly understanding new product technicalities.
- Understanding of process instrumentation of refinery/ Oil & Gas upstream & Mid-stream sector.
- Knowledge of Oil & Gas piping materials and corrosion management.
- Demonstrated superior interpersonal skills with excellent verbal and written communications.
- Focused on customer satisfaction delivery.
- Availability to travel within India and occasionally to US headquarters.
- To work staggered office hours to coincide with international offices of Cosasco and customer.

- The candidate shall have strong engineering and project management skills and must be focused and task oriented.
- Must be able to withstand working under pressure from meeting multiple timelines for several international high demanding customers.
