Project - Electrical Engineer

Reporting To: Project Manager / Senior Electrical Engineer
Job Type: Full-Time / Contract-Based

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and execute transformer installation as per project design and safety standards.
• Manage and oversee wire erection and cable laying (HT & LT) at the site.
• Coordinate and perform cable termination and jointing work as per standards.
• Ensure correct and safe installation of electrical panels, switchgear, and distribution boards.
• Read and interpret electrical drawings, single-line diagrams, and layout plans.
• Coordinate with civil and mechanical teams for smooth execution of MEP interfaces.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and quality standards during execution.
• Prepare and maintain daily progress reports, material consumption records, and installation checklists.
• Communicate with vendors, contractors, and the procurement team for material and equipment availability.
• Participate in testing and commissioning of electrical systems post-installation.

Requirements:

• Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• Experience: 2–5 years of site execution experience in industrial/commercial projects
• Technical Skills:
• Knowledge of transformer types, ratings, and installation methods
• Proficiency in electrical wiring, cable routing, and termination
• Experience in panel assembly and installation
• Understanding of safety standards (e.g., IS, IEC, NEC codes)
• Tools/Software: MS Office, AutoCAD (basic level), project documentation tools

Preferred Qualities:

• Ability to work independently and manage teams of technicians/laborers
• Strong problem-solving and site coordination skills
• Willingness to travel and stay at project locations as needed
• Good communication and documentation abilities

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
