Programme and Project Services Manager

As a Programme and Project Services Manager at HSBC, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Transformation Programme/Project Management Framework. Your responsibilities will include: - Demonstrating good knowledge of the Transformation Programme/Project Management Framework to support the creation of detailed plans with key activities and milestones. - Providing strategic support to the Portfolio/Programme by defining required scope, quality, cost, and effort. - Managing risks and issues by tracking progress, removing roadblocks, and involving key team members. - Developing communication and reporting strategies to coordinate progress reviews, key decisions, and approvals among stakeholders. - Tracking and reporting financial performance metrics to manage expenses effectively. - Devise delivery strategies with the Portfolio/Programme Manager, including mobilization activities and setting up Clarity plans. - Establishing and updating quality procedures, conducting internal quality audits, and suggesting corrective actions when necessary. - Championing the use of standard PMO methodologies, artefacts, and tools to ensure consistency and expected benefits. - Ensuring the team follows all quality assurance processes, Business Transformation Frameworks, and standard tools. Qualifications required for this role include: - Thorough understanding of core Portfolio PMO capabilities such as HSBC Change Framework, Reporting & Insights, Risk and Issue Management, and Process & Global Governance Management. - Experience in Billing process, Cost Allocation Methodology, Portfolio Financial & Resource management, and PMO processes. - Certification in Agile and relevant industry certifications like PMP/P3O/MSP/MOP. - Experience in managing senior stakeholders.
