Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize ad server modules handling bid requests, auctions, and delivery logic.
• Work on integrating with SSP/DSP partners via OpenRTB, VAST, Prebid, or custom APIs.
• Build scalable components for demand/supply management, impression tracking, and creative delivery.
• Optimize latency and throughput of ad calls and auctions in real-time environments.
• Collaborate with product managers and architects to implement new ad tech features.
• Monitor and debug production systems, ensuring high availability and low latency.

Required Skills & Experience

• 3+ years

  of

  hands-on development

  experience in programmatic advertising systems (DSP, SSP, Ad Exchange, Ad Server).
• Solid understanding of

  OpenRTB

  , auction mechanics, header bidding, and programmatic deal types (PMP, PG).
• Proficient in backend languages such as

  Golang

  ,

  Java

  ,

  Node.js

  , or

  Python

  .
• Experience with

  low-latency systems

  ,

  message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ)

  , and

  in-memory caching (Redis, Memcached)

  .
• Deep understanding of

  RTB protocols

  , cookie syncing, frequency capping, and targeting mechanics.
• Comfortable working with large-scale data and real-time logs (Click/Impression/Bid).

Nice to Have

• Experience with

  Prebid.js / Prebid Server

  .
• Background in building or maintaining

  ad quality filters

  , fraud detection, or pricing algorithms.
• Exposure to

  video ad serving (VAST/VPAID/VMAP)

  or CTV platforms.
