Role Overview

The Program Manager – Jobs & Internship Vertical will own the end-to-end execution of Impacteers’ jobs and internship product. This role is responsible for translating strategy into action, leading cross-functional collaboration, and designing scalable processes that drive strong candidate and employer experiences, high conversion rates, and measurable outcomes.

This is a high-ownership role suited for someone who combines execution excellence with process thinking and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • End-to-End Program Execution. Own the complete lifecycle of the Jobs & Internship product from planning and design to execution, monitoring, and closure
  • Translate organizational goals into actionable program plans, timelines, and deliverables
  • Ensure timely and high-quality execution of job and internship placements
  • Process Design & Operational Excellence
  • Design, document, and continuously optimize end-to-end processes for employer onboarding, role intake, candidate screening, matching, interviews, and placements
  • Build scalable workflows that ensure consistency, efficiency, and quality across the jobs and internship pipeline
  • Establish SOPs, trackers, and documentation to support smooth execution
  • Journey Ownership (Candidate & Employer)
  • Own and improve the candidate and employer journeys across all touchpoints
  • Ensure clarity, transparency, and a high-quality experience from application to placement and post-placement feedback
  • Identify journey gaps and friction points and implement improvements proactively

Conversion & Funnel Leadership

  • Lead conversion optimization across the entire funnel—from applications to shortlisting, interviews, offers, and final placements
  • Track and analyse conversion metrics such as application-to-shortlist, shortlist-to-interview, and interview-to-placement ratios
  • Identify drop-offs and implement data-driven interventions to improve closure rates and outcomes

Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Work closely with internal teams including Community, Partnerships, Marketing, Tech, and Operations to drive aligned execution
  • Collaborate with marketing and community teams to improve lead quality and engagement
  • Partner with tech and operations teams to enhance systems, tools, and workflows
  • Employer & Partnership Management
  • Lead employer onboarding, requirement gathering, role postings, and closures
  • Act as the primary point of contact for partner organizations
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with impact-driven employers
  • Tracking, Reporting & Optimization
  • Track key performance metrics including placements, turnaround time, conversion rates, and partner satisfaction
  • Prepare regular reports, insights, and recommendations for leadership
  • Use data and feedback to continuously improve program effectiveness
  • Team & Stakeholder Management
  • Manage interns, fellows, or junior team members supporting the vertical
  • Coordinate internal and external stakeholders to meet program goals
  • Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement

Qualifications & Experience

  • 3–6 years of experience in program management, operations, talent programs, or partnerships
  • Proven experience owning end-to-end program execution and process design
  • Strong cross-functional coordination and stakeholder management skills
  • Experience in jobs, internships, or the social impact ecosystem is a strong plus
