Program Coordinator

As a Program Coordinator at Sisters Living Works, you will play a crucial role in raising awareness and providing suicide prevention education and resources to the public, with a primary focus on the women of India. Your responsibilities will include the following: - Conducting Workshops: You will be responsible for preparing, researching, and updating PowerPoint presentations related to the organization's mission. You will also organize workshops and discussions in English, Marathi, and Hindi. - Training School Counselors and Educators: You will train and create awareness about suicide prevention based on the organization's manual. - Leading Support Groups: You will lead and manage various support groups. - First Responder Management: You will manage and train for the First Responder Training program. - Counseling: Undertaking one-on-one counseling sessions and preparing reports. - Content Writing: Creating training contents, workshop contents, newsletters, website content, and social media updates. - Supporting Fundraising: Attending fundraising meetings and assisting in report preparation. - Providing guidance and supervision for implementing and managing program activities. - Mobilizing and managing trainers, volunteers, and interns. - Supervising and managing team members for counseling sessions and support groups. To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills: - Expertise in counseling. - Excellent writing and speaking skills. - Strong networking skills. - Confident public speaking abilities. - Proficiency in English. - Leadership and organizational capabilities. - Effective support group facilitation skills. Qualifications Required: - Masters in Psychology. - Minimum 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in management, counseling, and training.
