Professor & Head of the Department (HOD) – Applied Science

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide academic and administrative leadership to the Applied Science department.
• Design, develop, and revise undergraduate and postgraduate curricula aligned with industry and academic standards.
• Teach and mentor students at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
• Promote and conduct high-quality research and ensure regular publication in reputable journals.
• Foster a research-oriented environment within the department by encouraging faculty and student research initiatives.
• Collaborate with other departments to enhance interdisciplinary learning and research.
• Supervise and manage departmental faculty and staff, including workload allocation and professional development.
• Ensure the department meets accreditation and regulatory standards.
• Organize workshops, seminars, guest lectures, and other academic events.
• Contribute actively to the institution’s strategic goals and continuous academic improvement.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Ph.D. in Applied Sciences or related discipline (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, etc.).
• Minimum 10 years of teaching and academic leadership experience in a recognized institution.
• Strong research record with publications in peer-reviewed journals.
• Demonstrated experience in curriculum development and academic administration.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
