Professional Services Consultant - Core & Edge / Routing Director

What you ll do:

• Provide architectural, design, and implementation consultancy for Juniper Networks solutions (Core, Edge, Access, Aggregation).
• Run requirements and scoping workshops with customers, delivery partners, and sales teams.
• Lead major network deployments, implementations, and migrations with validated design and migration plans.
• Evaluate customer networks for performance, scalability, and security; recommend proactive improvements.
• Develop deep technical knowledge of Juniper Routing Director, PTX, MX, vMX, and ACX series.
• Collaborate with Juniper technical teams to enhance product reliability, availability, and serviceability.
• Support customers in early-stage deployments and minimize downtime during migrations.
• Deliver knowledge transfer workshops and training to customers and partners.
• Build strong relationships with customer technical management and teams.
• Document assessments, HLD/LLD, test plans, implementation, and migration plans.
• Track and report issues during testing, implementation, and migration.
• Work across multiple customer zones and projects, ensuring process compliance.

What you need to bring:

• Strong JUNOS skills and hands-on expertise with MX, PTX, EX, and ACX series.
• Familiarity with Juniper Routing Director SDN controller or similar SDN controllers.
• Deep knowledge of TCP/IP, MPLS, QoS, Traffic Engineering, IS-IS, OSPF, BGP, RSVP, LDP, IPv6.
• Experience with Linux servers and services (DHCP, SNMP, FTP/TFTP, DNS, NTP).
• 4+ years experience in telecom/service provider networks.
• Bachelor s/Master s in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related discipline.
• Strong design and planning capabilities; ability to produce HLD/LLD and migration plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultancy skills with a customer-first mindset.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and stakeholders effectively.
• Python scripting skills for automation, API requests, and log parsing.
• Fluency in English (written and verbal).
• Willingness to travel internationally (post-pandemic).
