We're Hiring: Professional Services Consultant – CDN (Akamai ➡ Cloudflare Migration)

What You'll Do:

• Lead end-to-end migration of CDN, WAF, DNS, and performance services from Akamai to Cloudflare
• Translate Akamai configs (Property Manager, EdgeWorkers) into Cloudflare equivalents (Rulesets, Workers, Caching)
• Set up and validate security and performance layers including WAF rules, bot mitigation, DNSSEC, and synthetic testing
• Enable enterprise resilience with real-user monitoring, SSL/TLS management, and advanced edge configurations
• Educate customer teams and ensure long-term operational success post-migration

Tech Stack Highlights:

• CDN Expertise: Akamai & Cloudflare (Workers, Polish, Argo, Tiered Caching)
• Protocols: HTTP/2/3, QUIC, TLS/SSL, DNS
• Automation: Terraform, CI/CD, Ansible
• Monitoring: RUM, Synthetic (Catchpoint, Pingdom), Grafana
• Security: WAF, Bot protection, DDoS mitigation
• Scripting: JavaScript/TypeScript for Workers

Qualifications:

• 7+ years in CDN, performance, or network security roles
• Proven experience with

  both Akamai and Cloudflare

• Strong client-facing skills and project delivery mindset
• Preferred certs: Cloudflare Certified Developer/Architect, Akamai ACA

Nice to Have:

• Multi-CDN strategies
• Zero Trust familiarity
• Mobile/global performance tuning
• Log forwarding, SIEM (Splunk/ELK)
