Pilot Plant Co-Ordinator Job Details Unlimited / Full-Time NIVEA India Pvt. Ltd. Supply Chain Management Your Tasks
- Single point of contact representing Regional India pilot plant in different forums across region & global
- Responsible for the overall safety, microbiology, planning, operation, maintenance & people at the pilot plant
- Interface between formula development lab & process implementation engineers
- Planning of pilot batches of cosmetic formulations as per individual project scope.
- Supporting process trouble shooting for regional manufacturing plants & third parties.
- Close coordination with Production, corporate Technology Development and corporate pilot plant
- Inventory planning for RM s & consumables at the pilot plant
- Data management for pilot plant tasks e.g., process data, stocks, trial calendar, trial results
- Co-ordinate activities to support samples preparation for market research & sales
- Identification of possible improvements of process technologies & lead their assessment as required
- Interact closely with the other regional pilot plants and share best practices
- Close co-ordination with RM co-ordinator for planning & procurement of RM s for pilot trials

Your Profile
- Master s degree in chemistry, B.Tech / M.Tech (Cosmetics/ Chemical Engineering)
- 4 6 years of experience in formula, processing, and/or pilot plants in similar roles with reputed organizations
- Knowledge in the development of cosmetic products on lab and pilot scale.
- Very good knowledge in spoken and written English.
- Willing enhance own knowledge continuously.
- Global orientation and mindset; sensitivity to multi-cultural environment
- Proactive, open-minded, team oriented.
- Good knowledge of GMP standards for cosmetic manufacturing.
- Expertise in different cosmetic & personal care formula ingredients, their chemistry & process
- Good understanding of equipment used in cosmetics manufacturing
- Excellent communication and influencing skills, fluent English skills required, other languages are a plus
- Mobile, willing to travel, Proactive, open-minded, team oriented, entrepreneurial
