Job Description

About job:

This role involves hands-on training in the manufacturing and assembly of automotive electronic components. The trainee will learn to operate machinery, adhere to standard procedures, and maintain high-quality output, contributing to the production of essential automotive parts.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate machines and equipment on the production line, assembling automotive parts such as speedometers and sensors.
Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards, identifying and reporting any defects or irregularities.
Follow daily production plans and targets, maintaining 5S and Kaizen standards for cleanliness and continuous improvement.
Assist in loading/unloading raw materials and finished goods, supporting machine setup and basic maintenance.
Record production data, including output counts and defects, and submit daily reports to team leaders or supervisors.
Participate in hands-on training on production processes, safety, and quality awareness sessions.
Gain exposure to Japanese manufacturing systems like 5S, TPM, and Lean Production.

Qualifications / Requirements:

Diploma or Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, or related field is required.
Candidates with a B.Sc (Pass or Fail) are also eligible.
Must be between 18-25 years of age.
Ability to follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) carefully.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
Willingness to learn and adapt to new manufacturing processes.

Preferred Skills / Attributes:

Familiarity with Japanese manufacturing systems (5S, TPM, Lean Production).
Basic understanding of machine operation and maintenance.
Ability to work in a team environment and collaborate effectively.
Strong communication and reporting skills.
Adaptability to shift work (A / B / General shifts).
