*About the Role:*

We are seeking enthusiastic and motivated Graduate Engineer Trainees (GETs) with a background in Mechanical Engineering to join our team. As a GET at DEC Industries, you will undergo structured training across various departments to gain hands-on experience, develop technical expertise, and contribute to our manufacturing operations and continuous improvement initiatives.

*Key Responsibilities:*

Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of production processes to ensure efficiency and product quality.

Support maintenance teams with equipment troubleshooting, preventive maintenance, and root cause analysis.

Collaborate with quality teams to implement quality standards, conduct inspections, and improve product reliability.

Participate in process optimization and continuous improvement projects to enhance productivity and reduce operational costs.

Work with cross-functional teams including design, procurement, and operations to support new product introductions.

Apply lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and safety practices in daily operations.

Prepare technical documentation, reports, and presentations as required.

*Skills & Competencies:*

Strong understanding of core mechanical engineering concepts such as thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, and manufacturing processes.

Basic knowledge of CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) and modern manufacturing technologies.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting abilities.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

Eagerness to learn, adapt, and work collaboratively in a team environment.

Willingness to work on the shop floor and in rotational shifts, if required.

*Qualifications:*

Education: B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent) from a recognized university.

Experience: 0–1 year (Freshers encouraged to apply).
