Operate ASB machines as per production plan and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Set machine parameters (temperature, pressure, cycle time) as per product specifications.
Monitor machine performance during production and make basic adjustments to ensure quality output.
Perform mould changeovers and minor troubleshooting as required.
Inspect produced items for quality defects and ensure compliance with quality standards.
Maintain daily production records, machine logs, and rejection reports.
Ensure optimal utilization of raw materials and minimize wastage.
Coordinate with the Quality team for inspections and approvals.
Follow safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area.
Report machine breakdowns or abnormalities to the Supervisor immediately.
Support preventive maintenance activities as instructed.
Adhere to company policies, discipline, and shift schedules.

Skills & Competencies:

Hands-on experience in operating ASB machines.
Basic knowledge of PET bottle manufacturing processes.
Ability to identify and rectify common machine issues.
Understanding of quality parameters and production targets.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in shifts.

Qualification & Experience:

Education: ITI / Diploma (Mechanical / Electrical) preferred
Experience: Minimum 1–3 years experience as an ASB Machine Operator (PET industry preferred)

Machine uptime and productivity
Product quality and rejection rate
Adherence to safety and SOPs
Timely reporting and documentation
