Production Supervisor

Job Overview: Production Supervisor is responsible for leading daily shop-floor operations, ensuring production targets are achieved with the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency. This role requires strong leadership, process knowledge, and the ability to coordinate manpower, machines, and materials effectively.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Execute shift-wise production plans across assigned department (CT, Strips, Extrusion, Wires).
• Monitor machine settings, process parameters, and cycle times.
• Ensure adherence to SOPs, quality standards, and process specifications.
• Maintain accurate production logs, shift reports, and rejection summaries.
• Allocate work and supervise operators, technicians, and helpers.
• Coordinate with QC for inspections, testing, and approvals.
• Conduct toolbox talks and report hazards, near-misses, and safety violations.
• Ensure availability of raw materials, tools, dies, and consumables

Qualifications

• Diploma / B.Tech in Mechanical, Production, Metallurgy, or related field.
• ITI with strong manufacturing experience may also be considered.

Experience

• 1–3 years experience in production supervision within metals/alloys/extrusion/rolling/wire drawing or similar operations.
