Production Supervisor

Job Description:

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Production Supervisor to oversee our manufacturing processes and ensure smooth operations on the shop floor. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supervising production teams, maintaining quality standards, and meeting daily production targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate day-to-day production activities.
• Ensure production targets and deadlines are met efficiently.
• Maintain quality control standards and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• Allocate tasks to workers and monitor their performance.
• Train and guide new workers and ensure proper shift handovers.
• Maintain production records and prepare daily reports.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to increase efficiency.
• Collaborate with the maintenance team for equipment upkeep and timely repairs.
• Enforce company policies and ensure discipline on the shop floor.

Requirements:

• Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Production, or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in a manufacturing/production environment.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to handle shift work and manage a team.
• Familiarity with safety and quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of production planning and inventory control.

Preferred Skills:

• Knowledge of lean manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Experience in [insert specific industry if applicable – e.g., automotive, food, textile].
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, ERP systems, etc.)
