Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Production Engineer to oversee and manage our manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in the steel industry—and candidates with experience specifically in the stainless steel pipe industry will be given preference.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and oversee the production process to ensure smooth operations and timely output.
• Develop and implement production schedules, monitoring progress against targets and deadlines.
• Ensure strict adherence to quality standards, process guidelines, and safety protocols.
• Identify bottlenecks and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime and maximize efficiency.
• Work closely with the maintenance team to ensure optimal functioning of machines and equipment.
• Conduct process improvement initiatives to enhance productivity, reduce waste, and optimize costs.
• Maintain accurate production records, prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports, and present analysis to management.
• Coordinate with the Quality Control department to ensure all products meet specifications.
• Lead, train, and supervise production staff, ensuring discipline and a safe work environment.

Qualifications & Skills Required

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Mechanical, Production, or Industrial Engineering.
• Experience: 2–5 years of hands-on experience in a production engineering role.
• Preference will be given to candidates from the steel industry.
• Strong advantage for candidates from the stainless steel pipe industry.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, lean principles, and process optimization.
• Familiarity with production planning tools, ERP systems, and quality control procedures.
• Excellent leadership, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
