Job Summary

We are looking for a candidate with 1 to 4 years of experience for the position of Refining Supervisor to oversee refining operations in our lead manufacturing facility.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise day-to-day refining operations, ensuring smooth and safe functioning of all refining pots/furnaces.
• Check the availability of forklifts, feeders, and raw materials before charging.
• Ensure accurate weighing and issuance of raw materials, additives, and crude lead output.
• Verify raw material samples and coordinate with the Quality Department for testing.
• Inspect and ensure readiness of equipment such as blowers, burners, bag house, oil pumps, and coke feeders before starting operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of the plant area and equipment regularly.
• Monitor lead recovery and control lead content in slag (<3%).
• Record all process data, production logs, and fuel consumption accurately.
• Ensure proper communication between shift relievers and maintain shift handover notes.
• Follow safety protocols and ensure workers wear PPE at all times.
• Report maintenance requirements immediately and record them in the maintenance logbook.
• Coordinate with Quality and Maintenance teams for process control and continuous improvement.

Qualifications & Experience

• Any Degree or Diploma.
• 1–4 years of experience in a lead smelting or metal refining industry (preferably in secondary lead recycling).
• Strong understanding of refining process parameters, furnace operation, and safety standards.
• Knowledge of pollution control norms and environmental compliance will be an added advantage.
