Job Description

Role & responsibilities

Job Purpose:

To support the production operations of the Liquid Coatings unit by ensuring adherence to quality, safety, and productivity standards while gaining hands-on experience in manufacturing processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist in day-to-day production activities in the Liquid Coatings unit.
Monitor production parameters and ensure adherence to standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Support in maintaining quality checks at various stages of production.
Coordinate with the maintenance team to ensure smooth running of equipment.
Maintain production records and prepare daily/weekly reports.
Learn and apply Lean Manufacturing practices and 5S principles.
Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) standards.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the production unit.

Conducting
in-process and final quality checks
for products.
Monitoring
raw material quality
and vendor compliance.
Handling
customer complaints, CAPA (Corrective & Preventive Actions)
.
Driving
continuous improvement
through Lean & Six Sigma practices.

Preferred candidate profile

B.E./B.Tech in Chemical Engineering / Mechanical Engineering / Paint Technology or equivalent.
Strong academic background and eagerness to learn manufacturing processes.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Basic understanding of production, quality, and safety practices (preferred but not mandatory).
Ability to work in a team environment.
