Job Description

We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Production & Quality Coordinator to oversee the flow of Chikankari apparel manufacturing. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entry and exit of materials, ensuring quality control, coordinating with vendors, and efficiently assigning daily tasks to the production team. Key Responsibilities: Material Tracking: Monitor and record the entry and exit of fabrics, embroidered pieces, and finished garments from various sources. Quality Control: Conduct thorough quality checks at different production stages to ensure high standards of Chikankari craftsmanship. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with artisans, fabric suppliers, and other vendors to maintain smooth production flow and timely deliveries. Work Allocation: Assign daily tasks to the production team, ensuring deadlines and quality expectations are met. Inventory Management: Keep records of raw materials, work-in-progress items, and completed orders to streamline production. Issue Resolution: Identify and resolve production delays or quality issues by working closely with vendors and the internal team. Qualifications & Skills: Prior experience in apparel production, quality control, or vendor management (preferred but not mandatory). Strong organizational and coordination skills. Basic knowledge of textile quality standards, especially hand embroidery. Good communication skills for vendor and team interaction. Proficiency in basic computer operations (Excel, inventory software is a plus).
