Job Title: Production Planning Executive

Department: Production / Operations
Reports To: Director Oprations

Job Summary:

The Production Planning Executive is responsible for developing and executing effective production schedules to ensure timely manufacturing, optimum resource utilization, and on-time delivery of products. This role involves coordinating between various departments such as procurement, production, maintenance, and quality to align daily operations with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer orders and forecast.
• Monitor production progress and adjust schedules as needed to meet deadlines.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
• Track work-in-progress (WIP) and finished goods inventory levels to avoid shortages or overstocking.
• Analyze capacity utilization and identify bottlenecks in production processes.
• Liaise with quality, maintenance, and dispatch teams for smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Generate and maintain production-related reports for management review.
• Ensure data accuracy in ERP or production planning systems.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in production efficiency and process optimization.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and ERP software
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational ability.

Qualification & Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in Mechanical, Industrial, or Production Engineering.
• 1-2 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing coordination (preferably in
