Production Planning Control

You have a requirement for Production Planning and control for Isha Life, Coimbatore. The key responsibilities include developing and maintaining production schedules to meet sales and operational requirements, forecasting raw material, packaging, and labor needs, monitoring capacity planning, and optimizing throughput. You will also be responsible for calculating and sharing detailed material requirements with the procurement team, collaborating to ensure timely ordering and receipt of materials, and tracking material lead times for just-in-time availability. Maintaining optimal inventory levels, conducting regular audits to prevent shortages or overstocking, analyzing turnover rates, and ensuring compliance with food safety standards will be part of your role. Additionally, you will track production progress, identify deviations, maintain real-time updates of production metrics, and coordinate with maintenance teams to reduce downtime. Leveraging ERP systems for MIS reporting, analyzing plant performance metrics, preparing dashboards for management, and collaborating with IT teams for system accuracy are essential. You will also focus on resource management, process improvement, compliance with regulations, and conducting internal audits to ensure data accuracy and policy adherence. To qualify for this role, you should have a Bachelor's degree in Food Technology, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, along with 3-5 years of experience in production planning, material, and inventory management. Proficiency in ERP systems, advanced Excel skills, knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, and familiarity with food safety standards are required. Strong organizational, analytical, problem-solving, communication, and team collaboration skills are crucial for success in this position.
