Job Title: Production Planning & Control Executive

Job Summary:

The Production Planning & Control (PPC) Executive is responsible for efficiently planning, scheduling, monitoring, and controlling all stages of jewellery manufacturing — from raw material issuance to final product delivery. The role ensures smooth coordination between departments to meet production targets, maintain timelines, and optimize resource utilization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on order requirements and delivery timelines.
• Coordinate with departments such as Design, CAD, Casting, Filling, Setting, Polishing, and QC for smooth workflow and timely order completion.
• Monitor production progress and identify delays or bottlenecks; propose corrective actions to maintain schedules.
• Maintain detailed records of job movements, work orders, and material usage through ERP or manual systems.
• Prepare and share production status reports with management on a regular basis.
• Ensure optimal utilization of manpower, machinery, and materials to minimize wastage and downtime.
• Work closely with the procurement and inventory teams to ensure material availability as per production requirements.
• Coordinate with Quality Control to ensure adherence to quality standards and reduce rework.
• Assist in capacity planning, forecasting, and continuous process improvement initiatives.
• Maintain effective communication between departments and support the management in achieving production KPIs.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Production, Industrial Engineering, or related field (Jewellery Manufacturing background preferred).
• Experience: 2–5 years of experience in Production Planning & Control, preferably in the jewellery or manufacturing industry.
• Skills:
• Strong analytical and planning skills
• Knowledge of jewellery production processes and workflow
• Proficiency in MS Excel, ERP systems, or production tracking software
• Excellent coordination and communication abilities
• Problem-solving and time-management skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹13,461.25 - ₹40,000.38 per month
