Production Planner

Job Description

Reporting to: Production Manager Role Overview: Responsible for executing the master production schedule to meet customer service, inventory, and production goals. Manages material planning, scheduling, and coordination across departments to ensure smooth production flow. Key Responsibilities: Prioritize production based on master schedule and customer requirements. Act as the primary contact for production status, schedule changes, and shipping updates. Identify and communicate material requirements for seamless operations. Monitor work progress, material availability, and resolve production issues. Coordinate with cross-functional teams to optimize production planning. Analyze inventory usage, scrap, and shrinkage to improve efficiency. Schedule and expedite materials to ensure on-time delivery. Utilize MIS tools for production planning, capacity utilization, and gap analysis. Ensure Days of Sales Inventory (DSI) targets are met. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field. 6+ years of relevant experience. Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and statistical forecasting tools.
