Production Merchandiser

You are a direct-to-consumer (D2C) lifestyle brand with a vision to advocate the SAADAA way of living and provide better basics for everyone. Ranked among the top 1% Shopify stores in India, you have grown from a 100 sq. ft. garage to a 150+ member team in just 4 years by staying true to your mission of simplicity and quality. As a detail-oriented individual with a strong understanding of garment production workflows, you will be responsible for managing the full backend cycle at SAADAA. Your key responsibilities will include: - Taking ownership of the entire product lifecycle, with a focus on production planning and vendor coordination. - Creating detailed Tech Packs with specifications, measurements, trims, construction details, and BOMs. - Managing cost sheets for all styles to ensure margin targets are met. - Building and monitoring Time & Action (T&A) calendars for timely deliveries. - Coordinating with vendors for sampling, cost negotiations, and production timelines. - Maintaining accurate records of fit approvals, lab dips, strike-offs, and sample tracking. - Collaborating with the quality team to ensure production meets all quality benchmarks. - Conducting vendor evaluations and audits to maintain compliance and standards. - Tracking production status, troubleshooting delays, and resolving production or quality-related issues. - Ensuring internal systems are updated with the latest style, cost, and production details. - Supporting seasonal planning and capacity forecasting with the production and design teams. You should have a Bachelor's Degree/Diploma in Fashion Technology, Apparel Production, or Textile Engineering, strong knowledge of garment construction, fabric types, and processing, hands-on experience in production planning, merchandising, and vendor management, advanced Excel skills, and experience with PLM tools. You should be able to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple vendors, and deliver results within tight deadlines, with experience in sample development and offshore production.
