Production Merchandiser

As a dedicated professional in the role, you will be responsible for managing various aspects of the order processing and production coordination. Your key responsibilities will include: Order Management: You will be handling buyer purchase orders comprehensively, ensuring a smooth process from initiation to completion. This involves reviewing technical packs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and order specifics with meticulous attention to detail. Production Planning & Coordination: Collaborating closely with the planning team, you will contribute to the development of realistic production timelines. Your role will also involve coordinating with fabric and trim suppliers to guarantee the timely availability of materials. Additionally, you will be responsible for securing timely approvals for fabric, trims, samples, and fits to maintain production schedules. Communication: Acting as a primary point of contact between buyers and internal departments, you will be responsible for sharing production updates with buyers and effectively addressing any concerns that may arise. Sample Development: You will be actively involved in the follow-up process for various sample stages including proto, fit, pre-production (PP), and shipment samples. Ensuring the timely submission and approval of these samples from buyers will be a critical aspect of your role. Monitoring Production Progress: Tracking production status against set deadlines will be a key responsibility. Collaborating closely with the Quality Assurance (QA) team to ensure that quality standards are consistently met. Proactively addressing any production delays, shortages, or quality issues will also be part of your duties. Documentation & Reporting: You will be tasked with maintaining the Time & Action (T&A) calendar, preparing production reports, status trackers, and shipping updates to ensure smooth operations. Logistics Coordination: Ensuring the timely dispatch of goods and coordinating with logistics for shipping documentation and delivery timelines will be essential to the success of the production process. This is a full-time position based in Ludhiana, Punjab. The ideal candidate should have a Bachelor's degree, with 1 year of experience in Merchandising being preferred. The ability to reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work is also preferred for this role.,
