Job Description

Role & responsibilities:-

Ensure maximum utilization of machine and labour by scheduling jobs.
Ensure the maintenance of assigned equipment in proper operating condition .
Inspect products and processes, ensuring the meeting of quality standards in accordance with customer and company specifications.
Understand contractors strengths and weaknesses and help supervisors to allocate the jobs accordingly.
Analyse and study the job cards which have contributed or led to higher wastages.
Ensure material consumption is recorded accurately on a daily basis eg: Accurate consumption of inks and varnishes job wise.
Monitor machine productivities and its performance closely to derive OEE targets for individual machines.
Ensure the completion and updating of all required records, paperwork, reports, documents, etc. for BRCGS/ISO/FSC as per compliance requirements/standards.
Prioritize, schedule all shifts and delegate work assignments, and directly supervise.
Direct planning and other productive departments like cutting, printing, die cutting, pasting etc.
Planning, assigning, and directing work within the team.
Create a plan to set and achieve department goals on a yearly basis.
Review in process quality related issues with QC department on a weekly basis
Drive the job card closure process and ensure timely closure of the job cards.

Preferred candidate profile:-

Diploma/degree in PRINTING TECHNOLOGY.
Ability to communicate effectively with other employees .
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to prepare routine reports and correspondence.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Good organizational and leadership abilities
Basic computer knowledge.
