About this role As a Mechanical Engineer at Armory, you will play a critical role in designing and integrating electro-mechanical systems that power our defence technologies. Design and develop electro-mechanical systems for defence applications. Work closely with electrical and software teams to integrate mechanical components seamlessly. Take concepts from ideation to design, test, and full-scale fabrication. Optimise designs for mass production, ensuring performance, durability, and cost efficiency. Utilise 3D CAD software to create detailed models and simulations. Select appropriate materials and establish sourcing strategies for production. Troubleshoot mechanical issues and enhance system reliability through rigorous testing. Must haves 5-10 years of experience working with electro-mechanical systems. Deep understanding of manufacturing and fabrication techniques. Proficiency in 3D CAD software such as SolidWorks, CATIA, or Siemens NX. Proven track record of taking concepts from design to fabrication. Strong understanding of material properties and supply chain management. Hands-on experience in prototyping, machining, and assembly. Bonus points for Experience with defence-related mechanical systems.
