Production Manager_Furniture & Export House

We are seeking an experienced Production Manager with a proven track record in managing end-to-end production operations within the furniture manufacturing and export sector. The ideal candidate should bring at least 8 years of stable and progressive experience, with hands-on knowledge in solid wood and engineered board production, quality assurance, cost control, and efficient manpower and machinery planning. Key Responsibilities: Oversee and manage daily production operations ensuring adherence to quality, timelines, and cost efficiency. Prepare and maintain accurate daily production reports, highlighting progress, bottlenecks, manpower deployment, and material usage. Develop and implement production planning and control strategies to optimize output and efficiency. Maintain strict control over lead times, production schedules, and resource allocation. Train, supervise, and motivate production teams to enhance skills, output, and accountability. Ensure product quality meets export standards through robust quality control measures. Plan, maintain, and optimize plant machinery for continuous operations. Monitor and manage product costing, ensuring budget adherence without compromising quality. Accurately interpret and work from engineering drawings and technical specifications. Ensure a safe, organized, and compliant production floor environment. Key Requirements: Minimum 8 years of experience in a reputable furniture manufacturing/export house. Proven stability in past roles (long tenures preferred). Strong knowledge of solid wood and engineered board materials. Hands-on experience in daily reporting, with proficiency in tools such as Excel, ERP, or custom MIS systems. Expertise in production planning, cost control, training, and quality assurance. Ability to understand and work from engineering and technical drawings. Excellent leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills. Must be willing to work full-time from Sahibabad. Preferred Candidate Profile: Age: Up to 40 years Education : Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Industrial/Production Engineering (preferred). Candidates with a strong background in structured production environments and Quality documentation knowledge will be preferred.
