Production Manager

As a Chemical Engineer at TFarms, you will be responsible for overseeing and optimizing the production processes in our spice processing plant, specifically focusing on managing solvent-based oleoresin extraction, powder manufacturing, and essential equipment operation such as boilers, cooling towers, reactors, and evaporators. Your role is crucial in ensuring production efficiency, safety compliance, quality standards, and cost control. **Key Responsibilities:** - Plan, coordinate, and supervise daily production activities including oleoresin extraction, powder manufacturing, and other processes. - Oversee the operation and maintenance of critical machinery like boilers, cooling towers, reactors, and evaporators to ensure optimal performance. - Ensure strict adherence to safety, health, and environmental regulations while managing plant operations. - Implement and uphold quality standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) throughout all production stages. - Optimize production processes to achieve maximum yield, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness. - Lead, motivate, and train a team of technicians, operators, and staff to meet production targets. - Monitor production metrics, generate reports for management review, and troubleshoot operational issues. - Collaborate with maintenance teams for timely repairs and liaise with R&D and sourcing departments for process improvements and new product development. - Maintain inventory levels of raw materials, solvents, and finished goods, ensuring compliance with environmental standards like solvent recovery and emissions control.
