Job Summary: The Production Manager oversees the entire production process in the distillery, ensuring efficiency, quality, and compliance with safety standards. This role involves managing staff, optimizing processes, and maintaining production schedules. Key Responsibilities: Plan, organize, and oversee daily production operations, ensuring targets are met. Supervise distillation, fermentation, and milling teams to ensure seamless workflow. Monitor production metrics, identify inefficiencies, and implement process improvements. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines. Coordinate with procurement and inventory teams to ensure a steady supply of raw materials. Manage and train production staff, ensuring adherence to best practices. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues to minimize downtime. Maintain production records, prepare reports, and present findings to senior management. Work closely with quality control and maintenance teams to uphold product standards. Qualifications & Skills: Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering, Food Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 5 years of experience in production management, preferably in a distillery or food processing industry. Strong leadership and team management skills. Knowledge of distillation, fermentation, and milling processes. Familiarity with industry regulations and safety standards. Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions.
