Production Manager

Job Description

Role & responsibilities : Plan, coordinate, and control the manufacturing processes to ensure products are produced efficiently, on time, within budget, and to standard. Supervise production team leads and workers, ensuring productivity, discipline, and team morale. Monitor production schedules and adjust workloads as necessary to meet deadlines. Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety regulations. Collaborate with design, procurement, and sales departments to align production with customer demands. Implement lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste. Maintain production equipment and facilities in coordination with maintenance teams. Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as output, labor efficiency, defect rates, and downtime. Provide regular reports and updates to senior management. Drive continuous improvement initiatives in the production process. Preferred candidate profile : Any degree 8+ years of production management experience, preferably in the furniture or wood products industry. Strong knowledge of production planning and quality control principles.. Familiarity with woodworking machinery, upholstery, and finishing processes. Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Ability to problem-solve under pressure and lead cross-functional teams.
