Job Description

Job Summary: The Distillation Operator is responsible for operating and maintaining distillation equipment to ensure the efficient production of high-quality spirits. This role involves monitoring process parameters, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards. Key Responsibilities: Operate and monitor distillation columns, condensers, and other related equipment. Adjust process parameters such as temperature, pressure, and flow rates to optimize yield and quality. Perform routine maintenance, cleaning, and sanitation of distillation equipment. Collect and test samples to ensure quality control standards are met. Maintain accurate records of production data, including batch logs and process deviations. Troubleshoot equipment malfunctions and coordinate repairs with the maintenance team. Follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory guidelines to ensure compliance. Work collaboratively with fermentation and milling teams to ensure a smooth production process. Qualifications & Skills: ITI (technical certification preferred). Minimum of 2 years of experience in distillation operations, preferably in a distillery or chemical plant. Strong understanding of distillation principles and equipment. Ability to read and interpret process flow diagrams and technical manuals. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality control standards in a distillery.
