Production Manager - (Knits )

Key Responsibilities:

• Production Planning and Scheduling:

Creating and managing production schedules, optimizing resource allocation (equipment, materials, and personnel), and ensuring timely delivery of orders.

• Quality Control:

Establishing and enforcing quality standards throughout the production process, from raw materials to finished garments, to minimize defects and ensure products meet brand requirements.

• Team Management and Leadership:

Supervising and motivating production teams, providing guidance and support, fostering a positive work environment, and ensuring team members have the necessary resources and training.

• Cost Control and Efficiency:

Identifying opportunities to reduce costs, optimize manufacturing processes, and improve overall efficiency while maintaining product quality.

• Inventory Management:

Overseeing inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring adequate stock to meet production demands and minimize waste.

• Communication and Collaboration:

Maintaining clear communication and collaboration with other departments (e.g., design, procurement, sales) to ensure smooth production flow and timely order fulfillment.

• Safety and Compliance:

Ensuring adherence to safety regulations and industry standards, maintaining a safe and healthy work environment for all employees.

• Performance Monitoring and Analysis:

Tracking production progress, analyzing performance data, identifying bottlenecks, and implementing corrective actions to improve efficiency and meet targets.

• Continuous Improvement:

Identifying opportunities to improve production processes, implement new technologies, and enhance overall operational efficiency.

Preferred candidate profile

Candidates with 10-15 years experience in knit garment manufacturing
