Production Manager

The Production Manager plays a crucial role in overseeing and managing all production activities within the manufacturing unit. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring the timely execution of production plans, upholding quality standards, overseeing factory staff, and collaborating with departments such as Design, Purchase, and Quality Control. Your key duties will involve planning and scheduling daily production tasks based on orders and deadlines, supervising various factory floor workers including carpenters, polishers, helpers, and machine operators, and ensuring that production targets are met efficiently with minimal waste and rework. Additionally, you will be responsible for monitoring the quality of finished products in alignment with company standards, coordinating material availability, resolving any production delays, maintaining factory equipment, and ensuring a safe working environment for all staff members. A crucial aspect of this role will be reporting daily progress and challenges to senior management, highlighting the need for effective communication and transparency within the organization. The ideal candidate for this position should possess at least 5 years of experience in wood/furniture manufacturing, demonstrate a strong understanding of furniture production processes, materials, and machinery, and showcase the ability to manage teams and resolve day-to-day production issues.
