Production Manager

The Screw filling line Manager is responsible for production of Large Caliber Ammunition, is responsible for man-agement and coordination of entire production process, ensures the logistics of input and output material. The manager ensures the staffing of the line. It is responsible for production efficiency, product quality and for the management of the production team.

Key Accountabilities

1 The manager is responsible for maintaining occupational safety at the workplace, he is responsible for complying with prescribed fire prevention and hygiene rules.

2Compliance monitoring and implementation of prescribed work instructions, procedures and safety rules.

3 Monthly communication and briefing to the team about safety regulations and compliances, technical briefing and performance of the screw filling process.

4Ensure training for the newly hired people and maintain skill matrix for all operatives, encourage multi-skilling of employees.

5 Co-ordinate and supervise maintenance of screw filling line with maintenance function, ensure machine health check as per defined frequency and check list.

6 Ensure that all alarms, sensors, mistake proofing devices, moving and friction parts are inspected and maintained in good working condition for machine operation.

7 Ensure full cleaning of explosives material in screw filling line before machine is handed over for any repair and maintenance work, ensure that a valid maintenance work order / permit is issued for such work.

8 Ensure that all operatives are well trained in fire drill and in the use of fire extinguishers and alarms.
