Production Head (Solar industry)

Role Overview: As a Production Head at Solar Energy in Gandhidham, your role involves managing and optimizing the production process of the solar manufacturing unit. Your strong leadership and operational excellence will be crucial in ensuring timely and quality production of solar components. Key Responsibilities: - Lead and supervise daily production operations for efficiency and productivity. - Prepare and execute production schedules in alignment with company targets. - Maintain high-quality standards in line with solar industry requirements. - Ensure proper utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment. - Promote and maintain safety practices on the production floor. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing techniques. - Coordinate with other departments (Quality, Maintenance, Procurement) for seamless operations. - Analyze production data and prepare performance reports. - Troubleshoot process bottlenecks and minimize downtime. - Manage inventory, reduce waste, and rework. Qualifications Required: - Minimum 8 years of experience, with solar industry experience preferred. - B.E/B.Tech in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering. Preferred Skills & Experience: - Prior experience in the solar manufacturing industry strongly preferred. - Strong technical knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems in manufacturing. - Proven leadership and team management capabilities. - Familiarity with ERP systems and production management software. - Problem-solving mindset with excellent organizational skills. - Sound knowledge of safety, quality, and compliance standards.
