Production Head

Role & responsibilities

We are looking to hire a Production Head at our Ranjangaon Plant in Pune.

The job responsibilities will include (but not be limited to):

1. Develop and implement production plans and schedules to meet customer demands and company objectives

2. Continuously identify and implement improvements to production processes to enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and improve quality

3. Ensure that all products meet the required quality standards through in-process quality audits, inspections, and corrective actions

4. Supervise, train, and motivate production staff, ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their duties effectively

5. Manage the allocation and utilization of resources, including raw materials, equipment, and personnel, to optimize production output and minimize waste

6. Monitor and control production costs, identifying areas for cost reduction without compromising quality or production output.

7. Address and resolve production issues promptly and effectively, ensuring minimal disruptions to production schedules

8. Ensure that all production activities are conducted in a safe and compliant manner, adhering to all relevant safety regulations and procedures

9. Oversee the management of raw materials and finished goods inventory, ensuring adequate stock levels to meet production needs

10. Track and report on key production performance metrics, such as production output, quality, and cost, to management

11. Evaluate production capacity and make recommendations for improvements or expansions to meet future demands

12. Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of raw materials and other necessary resources

13. Monitor and control production processes, ensuring that they are operating within specified parameters

14. Work with other departments to ensure that customer needs and expectations are met

15. Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and quality

Mandatory Requirements:

• Expertise in Production Engineering and manufacturing operations
• Production Planning Control for plastic moulding processes
• Experience in Plastics manufacturing preferably, Injection Moulding
• TQM
• Machine Operations
