Production Engineer

Job Description

We are looking for a skilled Production Engineer to oversee plant operations, ensure smooth production flow, and drive continuous improvements. The ideal candidate will manage production planning, quality systems, manpower, tooling, and cost-saving projects, while maintaining safety and environmental standards. Role & responsibilities Manage overall plant operations and ensure smooth production activities. Organize production plans aligned with customer requirements and deadlines. Lead and drive new project implementations. Execute and support Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) activities. Monitor Quality Management System (QMS) and Environmental Management System (EMS) activities. Manage and develop outsourced job work effectively. Ensure employee safety and adherence to safety protocols. Handle tooling management and maintenance. Identify and implement cost-saving projects. Conduct monthly review and analysis of product rejections. Maintain accurate tooling records. Manage Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) operations and compliance. Handle ESIC-related administrative work. Plan and control production schedules. Oversee production control to meet output targets. Ensure strict quality control throughout the production process. Manage inventory control to optimize material availability. Conduct work measurement and time studies to enhance productivity. Oversee manpower allocation and productivity. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations in production areas. Preferred candidate profile Basic computer operating skills (MS Office, production software). Strong understanding of manufacturing processes. Knowledge of maintenance activities and troubleshooting techniques. Familiarity with Quality and Environmental Management Systems (QMS & EMS). Technical and engineering knowledge related to production operations. Proficient in problem-solving and root cause analysis. Experience in manpower handling and team coordination. Practical knowledge of TPM implementation and continuous improvement. Exposure to Research and Development (R&D) activities is a plus.
