The Production Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and controlling manufacturing processes on the shop floor. This role ensures that production runs efficiently, safely, and meets quality standards while optimizing resources and timelines.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan and schedule production activities to meet daily and monthly targets.
Supervise and monitor production processes and workforce.
Ensure production is carried out as per design, drawing, and work order.
Coordinate with Stores, Design, and Quality departments for material and work planning.
Maintain records of production output, labor hours, and material consumption.
Identify and resolve production problems and bottlenecks.
Ensure workplace safety and enforce company safety regulations.
Improve production methods to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
Participate in quality checks and inspection of finished products.
Train and guide shop-floor operators and technicians.
