Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Production Engineer to oversee the

manufacturing, assembly, and quality assurance of peristaltic pumps and other stepper

motor-driven products. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in mechanical

assembly, electrical integration, and process optimization in an instrumentation or

electromechanical product environment.

Key Responsibilities:

 Supervise and coordinate the production and assembly of peristaltic pumps and

stepper motor-driven instruments.

 Read and interpret technical drawings, wiring diagrams, and assembly

instructions.

 Work closely with the R&D, Design, and Quality teams to implement design

changes and resolve technical issues.

 Develop, implement, and optimize manufacturing processes to improve quality,

efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.

 Ensure quality control standards are met during all stages of assembly and final

testing.

 Maintain BOMs (Bill of Materials) and ensure inventory accuracy for production

parts.

 Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, or software issues in stepper motor integration.

 Ensure timely production targets while maintaining high standards of safety and

compliance.

 Train and guide technicians and assembly line workers.

 Maintain production documentation and generate reports for internal and external

audits.

Required Qualifications:

 Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics /

Mechatronics Engineering.

 2-5 years of experience in instrument manufacturing, especially with stepper

motors, pumps, or lab automation equipment.

 Hands-on experience with electromechanical assembly.

 Knowledge of stepper motor drivers, controllers, and programming basics.

 Familiarity with ISO 9001 quality systems is a plus.

 Ability to use tools like multimeters, oscilloscopes, and torque drivers.

Work Days: Monday to Saturday

Location: Tempo Instruments Pvt. Ltd., Mira Road, Mumbai, Maharashtra

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
