Production Engineer

As part of the Oetiker Production Engineering team, you will drive key development activities for metal forming products and manufacturing processes. Your responsibilities will include process support & development, project coordination, documentation & compliance, global collaboration, continuous improvement, and cross-functional teamwork. - Execute NPD tasks, process validation, and quality checks - Support senior engineers in tracking timelines, organizing meetings, and communicating updates - Maintain accurate project documentation, process SAP Material Master, and support QMS audits - Work with the Swiss R&D Team to ensure compliance with global standards - Contribute to digitalization initiatives, analyze production metrics, and propose efficiency solutions - Collaborate with production, quality, and engineering teams to implement new processes or products - Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent - Understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, and manufacturing processes - Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools; knowledge of CAD software, SAP, or automotive core tools is a plus - 4-6 years of experience in manufacturing or automotive sectors; relevant internships considered for freshers - Proactive problem-solver comfortable with ambiguity - Results-driven with strong attention to detail and ability to work independently - Interest in continuous improvement, including digitalization and lean tools - Basic English proficiency for collaboration and documentation - Team player willing to learn from senior colleagues and work across functions Team Oetiker is a leading provider of high-end connecting solutions for automotive and industrial applications, with a global presence in 32 countries.
