Position Summary

The Production Engineer – Fabrication Workshop will be responsible for planning, supervising, and optimizing fabrication activities to ensure timely execution of projects while maintaining quality and safety standards. This role is suitable for both fresh graduates and professionals with up to 5 years of experience in fabrication and production engineering.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule fabrication activities in line with project requirements.
• Supervise workshop operations including cutting, welding, assembly, and finishing.
• Ensure adherence to fabrication drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
• Coordinate with quality engineers to resolve fabrication-related issues.
• Monitor manpower allocation, machine utilization, and consumable usage.
• Maintain production records, daily reports, and progress tracking.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical & Production
• 0–5 years of experience in fabrication, production, or workshop supervision.
• Knowledge of welding processes (SMAW, GTAW, GMAW), fabrication techniques, and workshop equipment.
• Ability to interpret fabrication drawings, welding symbols, and technical specifications.
• Familiarity with codes and standards (ASME, AWS, API, ISO) preferred.
• Strong organizational, documentation, and communication skills.

Skills & Competencies

• Hands-on knowledge of fabrication processes and workshop operations.
• Ability to manage teams and coordinate with multiple departments.
• Exposure to production planning and resource optimization.
• Proficiency in MS Office and basic ERP/reporting tools.
• Problem-solving mindset with focus on efficiency and quality.
