R&D Technical Writer

Your responsibilities as a technical writer will include creating and maintaining various technical documentation such as user manuals, technical guides, and training material. Key Responsibilities: - Develop and update technical documentation, including user manuals, technical guides, training material, and other technical documents. - Generate 3D illustrations from CAD data, with a preference for using SolidWorks Composer and Adobe Illustrator. - Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to gather information and ensure the accuracy of technical content. - Review and proofread both new and existing technical documents to guarantee accuracy, clarity, and consistency. - Establish and uphold documentation templates and style guides to maintain consistency and quality across all global technical documents. - Migrate existing technical content into the content management system Quanos SCHEMA ST4. - Stay informed about new technologies, existing standards, and best practices related to technical writing. Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience in technical documentation, with technical writing skills, ideally supplemented by a degree in technical writing. - Proficiency in technical documentation tools like Quanos SCHEMA ST4, InDesign, and graphic software such as Adobe SolidWorks Composer & Illustrator. - Familiarity with documentation management tools like Confluence or SharePoint. - Background in mechanical engineering, electronics, or related fields with experience in product development considered advantageous. - Strong attention to detail with a quality-first mindset. - Excellent command of English with a proficiency level equivalent to C1/C2. - Knowledge of German (both written and spoken) is beneficial.,
