Job Title: Production Engineer Company: GMG Technotrades Pvt. Ltd. Location: Nagpur Industry: Manufacturing & Engineering Experience: 5+ years Salary Range: ₹25,000 - ₹35,000 per month Educational Qualifications Diploma/B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering or a related field What Are We Looking For? Strong technical expertise in CNC/VMC machine programming and setting Knowledge of manufacturing processes and quality management systems Ability to troubleshoot machine malfunctions and improve productivity Hands-on experience with new part and fixture development Familiarity with cutting tools, materials, and tool selection Understanding of automation systems and GD&T principles Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Good record-keeping and documentation abilities Job Responsibilities Production Target Achievement: Ensure timely completion of production targets with optimal resource utilization. Part Rejection & Control: Monitor and reduce part rejection rates through process improvements. Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE): Improve and sustain OEE to maximize efficiency. Man, Machine & Material Management: Efficiently allocate and manage resources for smooth production. CNC/VMC Machine Setting & Programming: Program and set up CNC/VMC machines for new product development. Quality Management & Record Keeping: Implement and maintain quality standards and documentation. 5S Management: Maintain workplace organization and safety through 5S principles. Technical Competencies CNC/VMC machine setting and programming Manufacturing process knowledge Quality management system and documentation Selection and usage of cutting tools and materials New part and fixture development Troubleshooting machine malfunctions Expertise in statistical process control (SPC) Knowledge of automation systems Understanding of geometric tolerances and GD&T principles
