Job Summary:

Rud India is urgently seeking a qualified and motivated Production Engineer to oversee and optimize operations within our Heavy Fabrication and Machine Shop. This is a critical role for ensuring production targets, quality standards, and operational efficiency are met.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage and supervise daily activities in the Heavy Fabrication Shop and Machine Shop.

• Plan and coordinate production schedules to meet deadlines.

• Ensure adherence to quality control procedures and safety protocols.

• Troubleshoot technical issues and implement effective solutions on the shop floor.

• Optimize processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and supply chain.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering.

• Experience: 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment.

• Must have: Hands-on experience with heavy fabrication or machining processes

Desired Skills:

• Strong technical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and team management skills.

• Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T.

• Knowledge of safety standards and quality systems.
