Production Engineer - Heavy Fabrication & Machine Shop

As a Production Engineer at RUD India, you will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing operations within our Heavy Fabrication and Machine Shop. Your responsibilities will include: - Managing and supervising daily activities in the Heavy Fabrication Shop and Machine Shop. - Planning and coordinating production schedules to meet deadlines. - Ensuring adherence to quality control procedures and safety protocols. - Troubleshooting technical issues and implementing effective solutions on the shop floor. - Optimizing processes to enhance productivity and reduce costs. - Collaborating with cross-functional teams including design, quality, and supply chain. Qualifications & Experience: - Education: Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering / Production Engineering. - Experience: 2 to 7 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment. - Must have: Hands-on experience with heavy fabrication or machining processes. Desired Skills: - Strong technical and problem-solving abilities. - Excellent communication and team management skills. - Proficiency in reading engineering drawings and GD&T. - Knowledge of safety standards and quality systems.
