Job Description

HCP Wellness Private Limited is a leading private-label manufacturer of high-quality skin care, cosmetics, and oral care products

Job Summary:

The Production Chemist will be responsible for manufacturing, quality control, and process optimization of cosmetic and personal care products The ideal candidate will ensure batch consistency, compliance with SOPs, and adherence to safety regulations while maintaining efficiency in production

Key Responsibilities:

Manufacturing & Formulation: Execute batch production of skin care, cosmetics, and oral care products as per approved formulations Monitor and adjust process parameters to ensure product quality Maintain accurate batch records, logs, and documentation

Quality Control & Compliance:

Perform in-process quality checks (pH, viscosity, appearance, etc) Ensure compliance with GMP, ISO, and other regulatory standards Assist in troubleshooting production issues and deviations

Safety & Efficiency:

Follow safety protocols for handling raw materials and chemicals Optimize production processes to reduce waste and improve efficiency

Team Collaboration:

Work closely with R&D, QA/QC, and packaging teams Train and guide junior production staff when required

Qualifications & Skills:

Hard Skills:

Strong knowledge of cosmetic/skin care/oral care formulations Hands-on experience with emulsions, suspensions, gels, and other cosmetic bases Familiarity with GMP, ISO 22716, and regulatory requirements Proficiency in lab equipment (pH meter, viscometer, homogenizer, etc)

Soft Skills:

Attention to detail and strong problem-solving abilities Team player with good communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

Education & Certifications:

BSc/MSc in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, or related field Diploma in Cosmetics/Chemical Technology (preferred)

Preferred Experience:

2-4 years of experience in cosmetic/pharma/FMCG production Prior experience in private-label manufacturing (skin care, oral care, or cosmetics) is a plus
